I’m Nicola, a hypnotherapist and therapeutic coach
My work is shaped by both training and lived experience, and by sitting alongside women who look like they’re coping, but don’t always feel that way inside. I understand how easy it is to keep going on autopilot, even when life doesn’t quite feel like your own anymore. The way I work is calm, supportive, and human, creating space for you to reconnect with yourself and take things one step at a time.
What is Solution Focused Hypnotherapy?
This approach combines talking therapy with hypnosis, a calm, focused state that helps your mind and body settle. We focus on what you want to change and what can help you move forward.
It’s a supportive way of working that’s shaped around you, without pressure, force, or digging into everything from the past.
How we can work together
Initial consultation
This is a chance to talk things through properly and make sense of what’s been going on for you. We’ll look at what’s been happening, what feels difficult right now, and where you’d like things to feel different. The consultation focuses on where you are and what you want to change, without digging into everything from the past. There’s no hypnosis in this session, it’s simply space to talk, ask questions, and see what feels right for you.

1:1 Hypnotherapy Sessions
These sessions are for when something feels stuck, heavy, or out of balance and you want space to work through it properly. We take time to talk things through and make sense of what’s going on for you, before gently using hypnotherapy to help your mind and body settle. Sessions are calm, supportive, and focused on helping you reconnect with yourself and move forward in a way that feels manageable. These sessions encourage you to talk about where you want to be and what small steps you could take to get there. They combine space to talk and then hypnosis

1:1 Relaxation Sessions
A shorter session designed to help you slow things down and reset. This is a good option if you’re feeling tense, overwhelmed, or carrying a lot mentally and just need some breathing space. These sessions are calming and grounding, offering time out from the noise so you can feel more settled again. It is sessions where I gently incorporate techniques such as breathing exercises, positive visualisation and body relaxation.

Block Bookings
Block bookings are available if you’d like regular support over a period of time. This can be helpful if you’re working through something bigger or want ongoing space to check in with yourself and build momentum gently, rather than tackling everything at once.

Supporting wellbeing in the community
Alongside my private work, I also run a monthly drop-in relaxation session for a local charity. This is something I care deeply about and a small part of how I support wellbeing beyond one-to-one sessions.
